Just what I needed
I needed this specific derailleur for a refurb of a Bianchi Avenue for a friend. The existing derailleur is an FD-M290 that I cleaned, derusted and lubed, but it didn't shift well to the inner chainring no matter what I did. This derailleur has the correct 63-66 degree chainstay angle and just fits into the limited space between the rear tire and the seat tube; although it does stick back almost one millimeter more than the original so it occasionally suffers from light contact with the tire. It's performance is marginally superior to the original, and about as good as can be expected from a used bike component. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase.
