A peek into the Garage
The mid-Sixties was a unique time for teenaged bands. Flush with hope cast by the success of the Beatles, young budding musicians felt they were part of movement and were empowered to create. Record companies were on the lookout for the next Beatles' group and were eager to open their studios as a result. The Nuggets series, devised by Lenny Kaye, showcases some of the best young talents of this time. This 2 record set features some of the more successful garage bands of the period in fine aural fashion. Those with deeper interest can delve into other Nuggets titles as well as a host of other similar series.

Excellent quality

Truly archival quality
This is the first coin album that I've owned that has real muscle. From the grommets on the page holes to the bulky cover, this album is like a rock. The light colored pages make for a nice contrast for the coins. Darker albums tend to blend into the coins. This album is a bit more expensive than most but worth every penny.
