Good text but too many tiny pictures
This is an interesting text and includes content and examples from many key figures of the baroque period. The full-page pictures are good but in my opinion there are too many of the tiny prints scattered through the book. They are properly inadequate given the highly detailed and intricate character of baroque art in the main. All that detail becomes virtually invisible. I found them a bit frustrating and especially in our “pinch and zoom” age. All that said, I really like the compact and comparatively lightweight format, light enough to take on a journey and a good introductory book for any art student.

Good Overview in Compact Size
This is an interesting exploration of the meaning of “Fantastic Art” over the centuries. It’s a good book for any type of art student, serious or amateur. I very much like the compact format. The colour prints are not bad at all for the price of the book and it’s lightweight enough to take with you travelling.

Good solid bench
Very pleased with this bench - seems gym-quality, very robust, nice finish and easily adjustable. Great to have while unable to go to the gym!
