One piece of advice to first-time viewers: some characters speak a very narrow local American dialect and it can be very difficult to understand. In fact, the African American actors playing the roles, didn't understand it either. My advice is to not fight it. Don't struggle to understand every word. Just watch the characters and let the words wash over you. After a few episodes it will all make sense.
This show is so real I really believe there is a Bubbles, Stringer Bell, and so on.

Rio Rocks!
Once upon a time Rio Karma was hands-down the best MP3 player on the market- 20 gig of memory and the best audio and nifty retro design made it one of my favorite gadgets. Now, I've heard complaints this is not a good workout design. I wouldn't know about that, but I can say that it's fine for long walks and I just plug it into my stereo, set my playlist and enjoy my tunes, radio show podcasts and audio books without fussng with CDs.
Alas, for reasons I will never understand, Rio got out of the MP3 business and when my beloved Rio stopped working I turned to E-Bay and after watching auctions I saw that there were still a few Karmas still out there.
I not only bid on two and won two, one of the Rio sellers repaired my old one so I'm set for life.
With three Rios, I believe I'm set for life.

Lightweight, Durable, Stylish
I had one of these Belkin laptop lap desks for ten years before it finally began to deteriorate. The core is some kind of hard foam but at some point it began to become misshapen and a bit squishy. I scrounged another and was so nervous that I'd never find the like of it again, when I saw a second one, I snapped it up.
This is a nice, comfortable style with a bit of a midcentury vibe that goes with my decor. I use the center to stash a little zipper pouch with my cables. Good place to park an eyeglass case, too.
