Great "old" manga!
I love old manga. I go to the source. I like to know what's at the beginning of a trend. I also love Leiji Matsumoto, so this was a treat! It's not the super-honed and flashy manga of today. It's very much more organic and idiosyncratically hand-made looking. It's also not the vintage anime. This has the very serialized feel of chronological publication. Add in the good weight and feel of the hardcover, and you've won me over!

Simonson is one of the greats!
I love Walt Simonson's work, and it was great to read through his run on the Fantastic Four that I used to have back in the early '90s! I love these trade paperback reprints that Marvel does, and I'd love to see more and more. I'm in it for the stories, not the resale "value." The Fantastic Four is so much fun, and Simonson does some really cool time travel stuff in this book--namely, the unforgettable Time Variance Authority and Justice Peace.
