More TRUTH about how the MUSIC INDUSTRY works!!!!
This is yet another fantastic inside look and revelations of just how the Music Industry was run and what motives actually drove the market of making the $$$$$. Though most of the "Musicians" who lived through the 60's-90's don't have a clue OR refuse to want to know just how Record Companies really operated, I can attest as being a Career Musician myself from 1968- till present that this book is about as accurate an account as you will find. "Off The Charts" takes a deep look at the inner motions of the BIG Companies from the 80's into the 90's. If you are looking to find just what it was that made the Majors of the Record Industry "Tick" during those years, this is a MUST read! I also recommend "Hit Men" ( Fredric Dannon ), "Here Comes The Night" ( Joel Selvin ), & " Me ,The Mob & The Music" ( Tommy James ), for a more deeper insight of truth dealing with the 60's, 70's & 80's in the Record Business! You will most likely find that what you had originally believed of how the Music Industry worked, is NOWHERE near the actual TRUTH!! Hold on to your SEATS!!!
