Lightweight nicely engineered unit! remember look for the Name.
Other drive units (un-named) haven't worked for me? This Asus dvd worked straight away form the box!

Answer to swtiching problem
Works well! used as a 3 t0 1 switcher, like this better than org' 3 to 1 one ( had a v. short o/p cable). Not the best way, best to plug in the o/p cable to switcher(since this can be any length) Remember to measure the cable more accurately? No Guessing!! A beautifully made unit and it works well!
