An exceptional Science-Fiction film made with little resources, plus brief appearance and narration by Iggy Pop!
Though I haven’t viewed it yet, I did (several times) when it was released in theatres in 1990. I had to order a copy once, as it was never on the shelves of Video stores; I’m very glad I was able to order a copy through E-Bay, a definite improvement in quality of life for a film aficionado!
Took a military reservist (who was concerned about being sent to the war in Iraq) to see it; Don’t think it cheered him up!
