OK for the money
The spiked part of the product that goes into the ground is only about an inch. Had to dig down into the dirt to get more of the edging into the ground to stabilize it. I used it an area that is not very visible to hold back bark ground cover as it's not that attractive. BUT it worked and was inexpensive.
