Reasonably discriptive.
Johnson certainly likes the sound of his own writing. The book say's little but seems to reveal a need to grammatically impress as opposed to teach. I would hope there are better teachers around but, it is necessary to experience the bad in order recognise the good. For that reason alone it is worth taking a look and deciding for yourself.
