Im happy, I like the way it looks.

Odly enough, I've been asked to review an Epson R310 inkjet printer that I purchased on eBay. The printer was advertised as 'not working, for parts only', with the added note that the cartidges had most likely dried up. I am happy to report that the printer unfunctions exactly as described and the cartridges are pretty well dried up! *Why did I buy it? I'm glad you asked! I purchased the printer for around $10 in the hope that it might work with some fresh cartridges. I spent around $12 on some (6) el'cheapo cartridges (also from my friend eBay) but havn't tested it yet. * What do I like and dislike about it? hmm ... I like the way it looks in the box, I havn't taken it out yet. I dislike the way it takes up floor-space in my office, I should take it out of the box and put it on my desk. * How does it compare to others like it? One unfunctioning printer is pretty much the same as any other unfunctioning printer I guess. Except for those ones that offer funky error messages, but they probably cost more. Overall, I got what I expected. If you dont set your sights very high you can hit the side of most barns. Or something.

Misleading listing.

This product was listed as having a "Lightning Connector" but it did not, it was just an early model with 3.5mm stereo plug. This product was listed as New, but the giveaway this might not be the case was the old earwax in the holes. The plastic insulation on the cable had also gone sticky as it perished and the connector had green corrosion.

Amber coating flakes off within a few months.
