Good Pro Lens, Depending on What You Do
2 von 4 finden das hilfreich Purchased this lens to replace Panasonic's 35-100 F2.8. While a bit longer at the short end - 40mm instead of 35mm - I liked the extra reach that this lens offered. It has 50mm more reach than Panasonic's flagship long zoom. The big zoom and focus grips are great, and the lens focuses quickly, while maintaining focus throughout a zoom. However, if you're going to shoot in anything outside of good light the lack of image stablilization requires that you shoot on a tripod. With the Panasonic zoom, you don't need to do so.
The lens is very good for video and balances well on a tripod.
