Interesting introduction to Hemingway style
Interesting narrative/conversational style - my second attempt to learn more about/appreciate Hemingway. I found For Whom the Bell Tolls rather tedious and long-winded. This was a more interesting approach but I don’t need to read any more Hemingway; it’s not for me.

Great example of Camilleri’swriting skill
It’s so enjoyable reading the novels that inspired the TV series. Great craftsmanship and storytelling.

Excellent plot and delivery of the stiry
I’m new to reading Camilleri though I’ve been a fan of the tv series - the books are even better than the tv series.
