1 von 1 finden das hilfreich this is one of her 6 autobiographies and they all make for a compelling read about a wonderful woman and her courageous life....she writes as she sees it and is very easy with a distinctive flow. It is a glimpse at an era in history and about a personal struggle to find a way and an identity. A good read.

a good read
one of the few books I have read that I didn't much like a single character BUT it is a brilliantly written book. .H.James is one of the best of his time.

Wonderful Grapes of Wrath
superb; a difficult, emotive story with huge relevance to todays migrants and hard working folk especially the Mother, our inner strength.
