Issues with spline on shaft and heel toe shifter
The heel/toe shift lever wouldn't fit over the shaft provided. Tried to tap on with a rubber mallet, also made sure it was lined up, and tapped a flathead in the slot to help open up the lever more. Still wouldn't fit even when the tapping turned into a full on hammering with the mallet. It was only damaging the spline on the lever, which is a pretty light and cheap part. I luckily had my own shifter shaft, arm, and lever laying around and just used those. Everything else seems quality, the floorboards do seem a bit high, but that's better than them scraping like on the touring models. Also seen a bit tilted upwards, as in toward the bike, instead of being level. Still beats trying to piece together stock fxdp set for double the price, unless you get lucky and find them cheap.
