Consistent quality at a low price
Philips is a reliable brand. Consistent quality, even though some are made in China and some in Germany. I use these in vintage lights from the 1960s. Marchal and Cibié from France started using H1 bulbs in 1965.

Chandler at his best.
If you like noir, you'll love the BIG SLEEP. It will keep you awake, a page-turner. Chanler's first novel and maybe his best.
