Excellent Series
The MacGregors is a fun series which spans generations of Daniel and Anna McGregor's family. Daniel is a Scottish self made millionaire who hilariously match makes his children and grandchildren. Anna is a surgeon who loves her family dearly and is always looking to catch Daniel smoking which she has forbidden and drinking which she tries to curb. These five books series also include stories about the grandchildren. It helps to read the entire series in order, although not absolutely necessary.
