Superchaging for PCs

The upgrade is fiddly and needs to be done carefully - make sure that the instructions (youtube, etc) are followed. PC much faster than with previous Intel E2180 processor. This really is an unbelievable upgrade which is also virtually free of charge (thanks to server users chucking out processors in order to upgrade). The only negative is that this processor, and possibly others in the Xeon series, will not run Windows 10 since Windows 10 requires some functions which the Xeon L5408 does not support. It does run Windows 7 without problems, and presumably Windows 7, whilst not now fully supported by Microsoft, is still a secure operating system to use if running a good quality anti-virus product along with it. Running another os such as Linux could also be considered.

Spare heater

Looks ok- managed to clean up the old one and continue to use it - keeping this one as a spare, so have not tested that it works, but no reason to expect otherwise.

Don't like the material/construction

Original photo looked like the rubber 'o' ring type of seal which I believe that Ford have been using in recent years. The seals which arrived are a flat washer in a plastic material - they will not fit the Fiesta sump plug which has a groove to accept an 'o' ring type seal - they will fit our older Escort which has a plug with a flat flange clamping face, but not happy about the material- the normal Escort seals comprise a steel outer section washer with an integral central rubber tyre ring.
