Nice smooth quiet operation and the batt...

Nice smooth quiet operation and the battery seems more than adequate for reasonable use. Lighter than my mains trimmer without the hassle of the cord.

Good parts at reasonable cost to save a drill

Drill overheated drilling too many big holes too fast resulting in the plastic brush holding plate melting and lifting brushes off armature. Hardest part of fix was getting wire of drill back inside. Sight damage to armature due to arcing was removed and slits cleaned. Sounds a bit noisy which I assume is the new bushes wearing in. So far so good. A relatively easy fix if you understand basic motor requirements or just careful and observant of what goes where and what has failed.

Nice product in the black finish

Can be used on either side to form triangle. Despite being well wrapped in many layers of bubble sheeting and covered in fragile sticky tape, the two units I bought were each crushed at one end due to very poor handling in transit. As the damage was almost identical on each unit I would suggest they had been thrown at some stage. UK Mail? Fortunately the units could be more or less bent back to shape without too much trouble.
