Yesterdays Tech, but an affordable and solid performer

The Arris Surfboard SB6141 meets that search for a cable model. This unit price is a bargain, it's a plug and play unit as long as you call your cable company when installed, and provides entry level Docsis 3.0 compatibility and speeds. Although it is only capable of bonding 8 channels , as opposed to the current tech of 16 and 32, it performs solidly and consistently gave me download speeds in excess of the cable provider's max stated standards. That's pretty good for the price.
