Tefal pro express auto control
I bought this tefal pro express auto control as a faulty product as it will not produce steam.
Going by what I can, this feels like a high quality steam generator which, in working condition, would transform the way people iron if they're used to a regular iron.
The controls consist of 3 modes, Min (delicate), normal, and Max (jeans) so you don't have to worry about complicated settings. You can also set it to Eco.
On the side of the base unit, there's an 'anti-calc collector' which collects bits of limescale from within the heating chamber. You just unscrew it and tap out any limescale.
Another thing worth mentioning is that it has a safety shut-off feature so that if left for a certain amount of time, it'll automatically put itself in standby mode.
There are also compartments within the base where the power cable and the pipe from base to iron can be neatly tucked away for storage.
There's a large capacity water container so that you don't have to keep refilling....I believe this can last for around three hours of ironing! It has a longer, rounded tip to the soleplate so that ironing around buttons and fiddly areas is a doddle. When working, it produces high volumes of steam, and from other reviews I've read, it can reduce ironing time by half, even 2 thirds in some cases!
As a sufferer of fibromyalgia and adhd, this would be perfect as it will cause less pain, and also less restlessness and frustration (although adhf-wise, this is currently one of my many projects🙈).
