The Midnight gang. David walliams
This book arrived in perfect condition my grandson was straight into it he has almost read all of the David Walliams books this was one of the last of the last 3 he hadn't read. He is 12 and autistic but once he gets into an author he reads them over and over avidly.
In this order, I included a new author so that when he finishes he can have some new books to try. I just hope David Baddiel's writing style, has as much warped sense of humour that keeps my grandson so interested in David Walliams.

Awful Auntie. David Walliams
This is the the 2nd, of the last 3 David Walliams titles that my grandson hadn't read, he read it just as avidly as all the rest.
My grandson is 12 and autistic he loves books especially David Walliams.
I ordered the last 3 books that he has written, along with trying 1 from David Baddiel which he hasn't got to yet.
I needed to introduce a new author that I think might compare with David Walliams so he has something else until he writes some new books.
I am hoping his writing style may be similar.
His mood is much better and happier when he has been reading, the complete opposite to when he has been playing games on his playstation.
I expect this is because of the hilarious, warped and child friendly style in which he writes. We have also used reading to curtail the amount he plays on the playstation by saying if he has an hour on the playstation he must have at least an hour reading thus evening out his mood swings. Preferably reading after game playing as it calms him down and makes him more responsive in performing other tasks such as going to bed.
I cannot recommend David Walliams enough as I have two other grandsons who are also on the autistic spectrum and they enjoy them as well.
