Never disappoints
For me, Nero Wolfe mysteries never let you down, but still, some are better than others. This is one of the better ones that held my attention to the very end.

Another Nero Wolfe good read
I've read many book series by an author and often after seven or eight they start to rehash plots or plod or just become inane. After almost 20 of Rex Stout's, that doesn't seem to be true. His plots are thoughtful, inventive and different. Before Midnight is one of my favorites so far out of the 18 or so that I've read. Also, this particular copy was a fair price and in decent condition for a used book. I'm pleased.
