Works well on a WSM, minor fit and finish issues
The Lavalock quick coal door is great on my 22.5 WSM. There were minor fit and finish issues, the edges that mate against the body weren’t straight so I had to vice it, square it and bend them back correctly.
Once it was installed and caulked it looks sweet and it’s leagues better than the stock door.
I sanded it, degreased it and painted it engine black. Looks great and works great.
My only complaint was the additional work I had to do to get it straight. It’s easy to put into a vice and fix it but still.
Overall yes it’s recommended of course.
