New-2-Me
The unit itself arrived in excellent condition...hardly looked used at all. The price was acceptable and it was the same year model as my recently deceased MacBook Pro so all of my chargers, cords, and gadgets will work with the new one. My issue was with it's internal workings. I was not able to transfer my information/files to the new-to-me MacBook Pro. I had to take it to a local APPLE store and have their assistance in getting everything up and running. It seems APPLE ended their support of Yosemite OS in 2019 and MANY current security features and lots of software are no longer compatible...you know, little things like passwords, mail and iCloud.. I was aware the new-to-me MacBook Pro was running Yosemite OS but had no idea it would not work for even what little I need a computer for. After almost two hours of assistance, finding a work-a-round to update the OS and lots and lots of assistance from the Genius Bar, I was able to leave with a MacBook Pro that will do the basics...which is really all I needed. I did purchase the 1-year eBay warranty...just in case...
