My Weird School series
My eight year old LOVE these books. Once she starts one she can't put it down. I hear her laugh on occasion while she's reading. That's enough for me to decide if the books are interesting and enjoyable for my daughter. They are age appropriate too. She likes them so well, I went and found the rest of the series that she didn't have and ordered them for her. I love that she is a reader and this encourages her to read more than school requires.
