Wonderful story of a very special young girl.
I love this wonderful story of this very special young girl. Her special gifts helped her take on an army, and the long held beliefs of her people. I wish that deeply entrenched and long held beliefs could actually be changed more quickly, similarly to what was shown in the movie. I hope that part of the movie gives girls strength & hope without giving them a false sense that those long held beliefs that are deeply entrenched can be changed "overnight", and a sense of failure when they aren't. Maybe that's where it would be a good idea for girls to discuss that part of it with an adult after watching the movie. I realize it's just a movie and that's the only part of it I might alter. Otherwise, I really loved it!

Just as good as I remember from all those years ago, AND it's in widescreen!
This is the same great series I remember from all those years ago, AND it's in widescreen! Everything is pretty much as if it had been filmed not that long ago. The audio is clear and the colors are bright with great contrast. It's a joy to watch this famed series again, and the lessons are timeless.

Beautiful Earrings
It's actually AS EXPECTED, pretty much. They're very beautiful with lots of sparkle. The posts are thicker than expected. The hinges are a bit loose, but that's not a problem once they're latched. They're VERY PRETTY on.
