It is a genuine Audi/VW OEM harness
I would often get a meesage on the gauge cluster that the left tail light bulb is out. I would check the bulb and notice the solder on the bottom had melted slightly causing an open circuit. I decided to replace the harness since my car was now 7yrs old and the harness bulb holders had become brittle due the heat from the bulbs and was the cause of the problem.

Great value for the money. Works great with the switch.
It looks and feels just like an Xbox one controller. It synced up with my son's switch without any issues.
