These Bose QC buds are the real thing. I'm searching for any negative aspects, and I cannot think of one.

Does not fit early model 2002s.

It does not fit an early BMW 2002. This model does not have identical idler dimensions across all years. Suppliers are ignorant of this fact.

Why is the wire so twisted?

I only wish the manufacturer could figure out how to wind up 200 ft of heat trace without twisting it, to get it packaged. Otherwise I'd give it another star in my review This wire is tough enough to install on the edge of a roof, on an extended ladder, without having to untwist the line. Otherwise, this is quality product.
