Als sie starb, spürte ich, wie sich eine tiefe Trauer niederließ. Die Stille in meinem Haus war ohrenbetäubend und ich fand mich in Depressionen gerutscht. Nichts fühlte sich sinnvoll an.
Eines Tages fand ich beim Organisieren einer Schatulle mit altem Schmuck Stücke, die ich längst vergessen hatte. Kettengewirr, gebrochene Charms, nicht passende Ohrringe – und doch fühlte sich etwas an ihnen beruhigend an. Ich begann zu sortieren, dann zu reinigen und langsam wieder zu entwerfen. Es gab mir etwas, worauf ich mich freuen konnte, auch wenn es nur für ein paar Minuten am Stück war. Dieser kleine Akt – aus etwas, das einmal kaputt war, etwas Neues zu erschaffen – begann meine Heilung widerzuspiegeln.
