Exciting to build; definitely a model, not a toy.
This is a huge set! Helpfully, the pieces are in numbered bags so you can open them one at a time and build it in sequence. I worked on it in stages over the course of a week with my 8 year old daughter and 10 year old son and even though it says it's for 16+, they managed quite a bit of it by themselves.
It's definitely a 'model' and not really a 'toy'. Some of the bits are very small and delicately placed and can be easily knocked off. I love the stained glass windows and the recognisable classrooms.
The figures that come with it are tiny and easily lost!
It's been great fun to build and explore. Now I just have to keep dusting it!
