Weak amplifier

I switch from Anarchy 3000.1d to the torque 5150 supposedly has more power but it didn't. The amp continue to turn off after 5 minutes blasting when the anarchy never kick off. I even installed a capacitor and still didn't help the problem it made it worse. It end up catching on fire the power cable. Change the wires and put a different amp brand and no problem. Will go back to the Anarchy model.
