Beautiful reditions of Purcell songs!
As ever, Emma Kirkby's voice surpasses all others in the Baroque style, with inimitable interpretations of both well-known and less frequently performed Purcell songs. A real joy to own and listen to!

Sublimely beautiful choral a cappella repertoire!
Eric Whitacre is outstandingly the best contemporary composer around - his a capella choral pieces are full of a sublime ethereal quality that is both poignantly touching and hugely uplifting in today's world. Somewhat challenging to sing accurately and effectively, Whitacre's repertoire is better chosen for a more advanced choir and choral director, but a fabulous learning ground for all singers.
