An excellent story for children, author is artist as well.
I know it was a good price -- just a touch disappointed, all the illustrations, done by author, are in black and white, not the lovely pictures I remember in my childhood copy.
An old copy, could sellers mention that in their statement?

Multi-use most important feature.
A little scary at first -- I made ribs and cooked pork tenderloin -- meat moist and tender, delicious.

Simply an excellent book, at a good price.
Karen Armstrong is brilliant, extremely knowledgable, and able to share her knowledge with the reader clearly, in a most thorough way.
Her work is respected by several religions. For instance, at prominent Catholic institutions like Georgetown, her writings on Buddhism and Mohammed are much respected.
No matter what your religion, you will learn a great deal reading this, and enjoyably.
