Audiovox VBP5000 Mobile DVD/VCP Entertainment System
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Our family is very pleased with this system. It can play both DVDs and VHS Tapes, can handle up to 2 additional monitors (comes with 1) and will play both media at the same time if you purchase at least 1 additional monitor.
We very much like the dual play capability given that we have a 12 year old and a 4 year old who don't always agree on what to watch. Overall it works quite well, though it can be a little finicky at times about playing certain DVDs (not really sure why).
We bought this system, with 1 extra monitor for about $250.00 rather than paying the extra 2 Grand for the built in system on our 2005 Odyssey and feel that it was definately a good decision. Though it is a little bulkier than a built in or even an add-on DVD-Only system and it is also a bit more work to get it all set up, it makes up for it in versatility.
We have taken it on several long (multi-day) trips and it saved our sanity by keeping the kids entertained and keeping them from fighting and whining too much. (Believe me when I tell you, two kids with a big age gap fight a LOT more than a bunch of kids with only a couple of years between each kid, even if the overall age gap is the same.)
The only issue is that the system is no longer in production by Audiovox, so buying a spare screens later on can be pricey, if you can find them, and there is an add-on TV Tuner that I have still not been able to pick up.
If your kids can all agree on what to watch, then a DVD-Only system with dual screens might be sufficient for your needs, but if you have a family like ours and you get the chance to pick up a new one at auction for a reasonable price, I would definately recommend it.

Little Girls Who Love Arial Will Love This Too.
Kind of a rehash of the first movie with Ariels daughter getting into trouble, but my daughter loved it anyway. She watches it over and over and sings the songs and acts out the scenes almost as much as the first movie.
