Great for someone who wants an easy to use and easy to hear GPS.
I know the 1220 is an older model, but I needed a GPS that is easy to use and if you don't use it for awhile, it will charge up fast. ANOTHER COMMON BRAND TAKES 2 hrs to recharge if you don't use it for awhile, but my Magellen works right after I plug it into the cigarete lighter and the other thing that is really good is YOU CAN HEAR IT, where the other brand I had to keep resetting the volume every time I used it because it was hard to hear.
I'm kind of old and the Magellen is more suitable for me.
