tiffen 58mm UV lens filter/protector
there's a lot of debate as to whether these are necessary or not, but I decided that I wanted one, and it does what I expected of it, so 5 stars. It fits snugly, cleans easily, and just looks cool!

it's made of durable plastic, which lasts like forever, and it spreads light around. It does what it's supposed to, and it costs less than a sandwich. It's as simple as that. 5 stars.

52" tripod for nikon
Sorta flimsy, so I was hesitant to say it's stable, but I guess you'll be fine with it as long as you don't go crazy. Personally, I wish I'd just bitten the bullet and bought something a little more sturdy, but I'm the type that tends to like overkill.
