Hofner CGCVB Hardshell Violin Bass Case, Black

Perfect fit, plush, nice hinges, nice quality

Case has a strange smell to it — not extremely smelly or obnoxious, but odd when you get close to it — but otherwise plush and well constructed. I assume smell will dissipate. I once bought a pair of shoes that couldn’t be in the room, this is not like that. (Shoes eventually lost their smell too.) It also has a strange texture on it but does not overwhelm it. I am very pleased.

Cool sound

Love the short scale...it’s lots easier to play. Cool sound and cool look. Need to change strings and have it adjusted.
