Quality laser printer
Very compact (takes very little space on the table) and is extremely fast: starts within a second of hitting the print button in the print window. Prints on both sides, which saves paper, and has extremely sharp type and good black and white renditions of photos. Networking allows my wife and I to both use the printer.

Zoom H2 a surprise value
Low cost, easy to use. I downloaded the manual and was able to use it right away. With a 2 GB memory card it will record a full night's show for a band.
