Henry's Dream Shines Brightly
I have to admit upfront, this has always been my favorite Nick Cave/Bad Seeds album. Every track is brimming with passionate pshycho-folk/punk/blues charm. The new Mick Harvey remaster gives it the best sound it has ever had. The cd/dvd set includes the entire l.p. in 5.1 surround sound, plus bonus tracks, videos, and mini doc. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Post punk bliss
The Birthday Party's 1982 album is a classic of anarchy, mayhem, and glorious chaos. Ten exceptional tracks including Big-Jesus-Trash-Can, She's Hit, Junkyard, King Ink and six others, make this a glorious feast for the ears. Nick Cave, Rowland S. Howard, Mick Harvey, Tracy Pew, and Philip Calvert round out this impossibly perfect band. Excelleng remaster on a well pressed colored vinyl 180g audiphile record.

Abattoir Greatnesd
Great double album by the best band on the planet. Abattoir Blues rocks with rage and passion. The second album, Lyre of Orpheus, is more placid and meditative. Together, they make a perfect concoction. It's incredible that one artist could put out all this great material in one year. Well, it's Nick Cave. That's all one needs to know. Cave is the greatest artist working, today. From Birthday Party to Bad Seeds to Grinderman to his film scores, screenplays, and books...nobody does it better.
