A+ video, ISPY compatible, can view w Browser, B&W infrared view, A+ phone app. cons are minimal & what i expected

Pros: good value/$, A+ video quality, B&W when using infrared, I was able to use a stronger/longer password than older IPcams (but still no symbols allowed). the phone app is easy & woks fine. I bought this camera because ISPY compatible is my Requirement, I have previous versions (P81) so i hoped this model P85 would also work with Ispy, IT DOES. can use vlc, rtsp, onvif, or jpg streams w ispy. vlc can play rtsp stream. ONVIF CAN ACCESS WITH COMMON BROWSER which is one of my requirements. I hardwire (my requirements) all my indoor security cameras but my testing the camera does see my 2.4 ghz wifi & connects. con: video is only viewable with IExplorer, not firefox or chrome. disable auto patrol on start does not disable this startup movement & is hit or miss if will return to desired previous position. previous models gave me the same issue so I knew this was probable & just live with it. i leave camera on so it stays @ my required position. my PREVIOUS cameras (P81) that I turned off & on when needed, almost daily eventually the movement became erratic &/or failed after ~ 1 year, so unusable. this P85 was to replace these malfunctioning units. other P81s that I left on 24/7 for that year both still work so I will leave the P85 on always & expect/hope it will last longer

good value mine night mode is either to bright or non functioning

good value. chinglish instructions. am/pm or 24 hr display. I'll never use alarm function so i can't say anything about it. the one i have the night mode is either to bright or non functioning. I had to move to alternate location because it's almost like a light @ night & was afraid it would interfere with my sleep. I Don't have it in my bedroom but have an open floor plan house
