Worth the feeort to replace
I read these books years ago when they first came out. I even had Robert Aprin sign copies when we met him at conventions and book signings at specialty book stores. Even my sons enjoyed reading them. They were great fun.
The books had been in storage for years. Recently my husband passed away. Then my son who is in the Navy asked if he could read them again. While moving the books from one city where we lived years ago to where I now live, the rental truck was broken into during the night. It was late so my friend who was helping me and I did not have a chance to unload everything that we were moving. The lock was cut, and several boxes were taken from the truck. Unfortunately, the Robert Asprin books were among the items stolen. So I am now on line, repurchasing copies, to send my son who is serving overseas. The stories were a real hoot and my son wanted to read them again. This is an unexpected cost for me, but I want to give these books to my son because I know he will enjoy them.

Enchanting drawer pulls.
These drawer pulls are very enchanting. They helped to upgrade the appearance of an old piece of furniture and I am glad that I got them. I thought the price was good the items and it fit within my limited budget. I am very "hoppy" with them!

A "Must Have" for calligrahy enthusiasts
This book has been on my "To Buy" list for quite a few years. When I saw someone using it for a lesson at an SCA event in Ashland a few weeks ago, I decided to go ahead and procure a vopy for my own use. This book is good if you already have a grasp of a couple of callligraphic hands and you want to concentrate on more styles from a more pinpointed historical look at calligraphy. There are a lot of beautiful photographs of examples, clear and consistent instructions on how to make the strokes, and visuals that show just how the pen is held and the angles at which the pen nibs rest on the paper to enable you to render each letter, This is essential for capturing the specific characteristics of each of the 26 different hands that are featured in the book.
