Brought back happy memories.
A childhood favourite that is a great adult read too.
I bought this to replace a lost copy.

Blood, fun and Johnny Depp, what more do you need?
So many twists and turns! Blood thirsty but funny too. Hard to believe Johnny Depp as a bit of a wimp, but he pulled it off, as always.

A brilliant mind that works for him in ways that I had never thought of.
I bought the book out of curiosity and a thirst for knowledge as one of my children has similar problems. I was not disappointed.
Daniel Tammet took me on a gentle trip through his life, showing his differences in an understandable way, explaining his way around them and sharing the ups as well as the downs.
By the end of the book I had a smile on my face and a better understanding of the diverse world out there.
Surprisingly easy to read the insights into a different life. I do not think that I would want him as a close friend, but I would not turn him away!
