More of a "Show piece" than anything else
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich Great knife. Impressive features and good quality construction but perhaps just too big to be useful as an everyday utility pocket knife. So many features that you need to study the instructions to find them all and understand what their purpose is. The smaller XLT model (still a handful) and the SwissChamp models are probably more "handy" but if you want the Swiss Army knife with the most features, the XAVT is the one. I bought mine as a companion oiece to my XXLT model. This is a discontinued model of the same size as the XAVT, minus the LED light and electronics in the handle scale BUT included a built-in BUTANE LIGHTER. Another piece for "show" rather than utility.

Very nice 1/48 release of a Soviet WWII fighter.
A rare release of a relatively unknown variant of a Soviet WWII type. Not bad at all. Not quite Tamiya or Hasegawa level of molding but still very good. Is it "durable"? That depends. If you can keep others from handling it (or ANY model for that matter), then it can last a long time. If you live somewhere with someone who insists on "dusting" them, it is doomed. It is, after all, a plastic model with some rather delicate parts.

A bizarre aircraft that actually existed and flew remarkably well.
This is a model of a VERY unique WWII German aircraft. It was asymmetrical yet it flew quite well. It never went into series production and service, so it is amazing that this kit (and another) were released at all. The rather huge amount of plexiglass surrounding the cockpit and gunner's area merits a lot of detailing. The kit engine is severely underscale. This is the main reason why I could not give this kit a higher score, despite the fact that I really do like this awkward looking aircraft. There are aftermarket (resin) 1/48 BMW 801 engines available and I suggest that these would be superior. Painting the canopy (perhaps I should say "greenhouse") frames will be a challenge.
