Adequate for most applications
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich These truss systems are made for light duty only. You can hang lights, etc. from the trusses, but there are two features that they have that actually hold the two truss hoists in position. One is the safety pins which snap into the vertical piece holes when you decide what height you want. The other is a knob that you tighten also once you have the height that you want. Make SURE that the safety pin is released into the vertical hole all the way. The safety pin assembly is NOT the same for the bottom adjusting leg, as they are for the other 3 locations on the stands. The bottom adjusting leg pin assembly is cut differently, as it does not extend into the hole as far as all the other safety pin assemblies. I am not saying that this leg pin is a problem, I am just pointing out that it does not travel the same distance into the leg pin hole as the other 3 safety pins on the stand, so do not try to remove and interchange them, as you could do if you were not paying attention. There is no need to remove the safety pin assemblies. All four of the stands I have, have the same shorter leg pin travel, so just be aware of that. Also, when I got my four stands, the safety pin by the crank, was bend on all four stands, due primarily, I suppose, to the package handling to me from the factory. They could have avoided this if they would make sure that all the safety pins were not set in the holes when shipping, as it is not necessary to have them in the holes unless the hoist is extended beyond the stowage level. The factory send me 4 new pin assemblies, so that fixed that problem, so they did take care of me. Over all, I would recommend this truss system for light duty applications, because larger systems cost a great deal more. As with any system like this, get very familiar with how it works, keep your fingers away from the moving parts when raising the system, and it is much better to have two people, one on each side, cranking it up at the same time. It seems that most anything nowadays does not come with written instructions, and this is no exception to that rule. If you are going to raise this unit to its highest limit, you might consider some bracing such as a rope or wire from the truss to another object. The system seems very sturdy when all the way up, but I always try to be as safe as possible because someone could off balance the system with lights, etc. and not realize it. If you watch the extremely expensive systems like this, those companies almost always have some type of safety cables just to make sure nothing goes wrong. I hope this explanation helps you all, I normally don't make these comments, but thought for safety I would do so. Now that I am familiar with this system, I would consider buying another if I should need one, primarily because the factory sent me what I needed to fix the particular problem I had. That is when you find out if the vendor is good, when you have a problem, and they take care of you.

A great pocket flashlight
This particular flashlight is just the right size to keep in your pocket or purse. It is very bright and won't blind you like this stupid LED flashlights and vehicle lights do. I would recommend this flashlight to anyone, and it is also very affordable.
