Junk.
There's NO way you are getting thru leather more then 1mm thick with these! I tried one on a 7oz. Leather belt and it barely put an indent in it. I should've know after looking at them. How's a cone shape supposed to go through the leather as well? I'll have them turned down on a lathe and make them correctly. Also, they are very dull, probably couldn't cut butter with them.

Great Classic.
It's hard to believe this movie was made 88 years ago! The restoration work done on this is truly amazing. A have a few movies from the 30s- late 40s and this beats them hands down. Clear picture and very good/crisp sound.
There are many reviews of this. But, it is an Anti-War film. And it does a good job of portraying the excitement of the young kids going to war. Then, the realization of the horrors once they get there. Very much as how it was during WWI. Listening to some of the actors talking about it in the movie is kind of Ironic. Being that 11 years(movie release) later WWII starts.

Its nice. Had issues.
Alright, I'll be the one to give it under 5 stars.
The brass hook on mine was way too big! I had to file the outside and inside (loop) a LOT for this to fit. Not sure why the hook is painted brown? The brass looks a lot nicer and would be correct.
Secondly, and this is a big one for me. The leather is a paint dye! WHY?!?! It's a glossy burnt orange. Much different then the photos. It would 10x better with a natural dye or just oiled. It's really out of place and doesn't belong.
It's still a very nice lanyard, but I am still a bit disappointed.
