Haoge vs JJC? I have both.
I can give a comparison review here. I purchased a similar JJC hood prior to this. The Haoge hood is only about as wide as the base of the lens, and a bit deeper in actual hood flange, and will fit in a regular lens slot in a bag or case.. The JJC is much flatter, shallow, and is quite a bit wider than the lens base and sometimes get stuck in a narrow bag slot. The Haoge, IMO, looks like much like a 28mm Summicron hood, whereas the JJC is more like the 19/21mm leica. The bayonet function on both is absolutely PERFECT. They did a great job with that. You won't be disappointed with either, just that the Haoge is narrower in width, and to me, looks more natural.

Canon EF L series 28-80 f2.8-4 is AMAZING!
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich This lens is built like a tank. All metal, the glass elements weigh a ton, and it renders the most delicious film like tones since..well..film. I bought this to replace a 24-105 ( which I still highly recommend) and cannot be happier. Zoom is totally internal, unlike the 24-105 L. The extreme front end of the lens free rotates independent of the barrel, so any specialized filter you add ( polarizer, star, etc) will remain as placed without being affected by zooming or focusing. The original lens hood is harder to find than the lens itself, but I guessed correctly that the hood for the 45mm T/S is the same hood with a slightly different name. If you can find a clean version of this lens like I did, I would say "buy it". While not as wide as the 24-70 2.8, it was also $1000 less than even a good used one. And on a full frame body, I don't miss the 24 all that much.

BUT IT NOW!
I own one of these Steinharts. I am a watch geek. It is one of the most comfortable watches I have, second only to my Doxa TSUB. I cannot find a fault with this timepiece. Accurate, long reserve, sturdy yet not heavy ( I have a UTS Munchen GMT that is nearly impossible to wear for an entire day). In short, I love this brand, and have a two tone 39 incoming.
