Back-In-Print Edition Of A Sought-After Reissue Of A Classic Album
Much-desired by fans since it first appeared and sold-out, the 40th edition of 1973's classic Tull album (you do the math) arrives again after being out-of-print for some years, and in time for its 50th anniversary. This edition makes minor upgrades I won't dwell on here, but suffice to say the overall reissue is a real joy. Not quite up to the standards reached by later reissues of 70's Tull albums, as this was very early in the reissue [programme before they figured out there was a demand for a wealth of rare and unissued material relating to each album. Here you get a booklet that includes articles about the making of the album and a replica of the original mockj-newspaper the 1973 LP was came wrapped in. The music is the album itself in remixed stereo form, also surround sound and the original mix. On the DVD, while the music plays you can watch the pages of the newspaper turn, which is amusing. A lot of people have been lacking this item in their collections, so it is nice to have it available (for a while at least) at a more reasonable price.
