A good read not too taxing!
They are a good series, we’ll written characters that are interesting. Set just after WW1

Author not fully recognised?
This author was recommended to me by my cousin as she writes about a forensic archaeologist in Norfolk (the Ruth Galloway series of 8 books) and they are excellent. I have now discovered this new series of Stephens and Mephisto novels set in 1950's Brighton. they are very different but equally absorbing light detective mysteries. I can't understand why her books are not more readily found.

another Julia Donaldson masterpiece
Bought for my 2 year old Grandson he loved it from the start and now knows it off by heart. lots of possible ways of looking at it and using the words and pictures. I think he will still enjoy it at 3 but not sure for how much older
