well acted police drama
A Good police story with solid acting,especially John Thaw.
An entertaining look at the 70s,with the hairdos, fashion and cars.

If Downtown Abbey was in Ireland
Excellent early British/Irish TV show. It is a gentle look at life in early twentieth century Ireland,filmed on location. Reminds me of the movie "The Quiet Man". I do have to use close captioning as they often speak quickly with a brogue.
Strong characters,excellent acting and a slow paced unfolding of events lands you back in old time Ireland. Very relaxing and enjoyable!
